If you have ever had a pesky skin tag that you are not sure how to get rid of, wonder no more! Thornhill Skin Clinic is happy to offer CryoClear, a safe and effective solution in helping to get rid of skin tags on any area of the body. CryoClear is gentle but highly effective, and uses Carbon Dioxide to freeze the affected area. This treatment takes a total of 15 minutes to complete, and you are left feeling content and skin tag free.

Any area that currently has a skin tag.

How Often Should I Do This Treatment?

As often as needed. Most times, one treatment is sufficient but some clients may need multiple to obtain satisfactory results. Your Medical Aesthetician will guide you in the most productive direction.

How Do I Prepare for This Treatment?

Please avoid using any retinol or products with active ingredients at least 5 days prior as your skin may be more sensitive. Be sure to let your esthetician know any products currently in your skincare regimen.

If receiving skin treatments while using medications such as Accutane, make sure to mention this to your attending esthetician before treatment begins.

Is There Downtime?

There is no downtime with our CryoClear treatments for the most part. Some patients can experience mild redness post-treatment that subsides on its own within hours. You may also notice that the treated area may turn darker for a few days post-treatment, but new healthy tissue should appear as your body heals.

It is completely reasonable to have a quick CryoClear treatment on your lunch break and go back to work skin tag free!

Post-Care Recommendations:

Always wear sunscreen with SPF30 or higher following a treatment (even in the winter months) and keep your skin highly moisturized. Do not apply make-up for at least 4 hours. Do not exfoliate for a minimum 48 hours after treatment. Other specified instructions will be given upon completion of your appointment.
